South High Track & Field



What time does practice start?   

Track season starts Monday March 12th 2018.  Practice times are 3:30pm to 5:00pm Monday Through Friday.  Field events may go longer than 5:00pm

Where do we meet?

We meet at the South High Track everyday weather permitting.  If snow or rain we then practice at the YWCA indoor track 

Is there a Fee and Forms to be filled out?

Yes.  The fee for track & field is $60.00.  Athletic forms can be found in the South High Athletic office.  Forms and $60.00 fee must be turned into the athletic office before March 12th. 

What equipment do I need?

A good pair of shoes and a watch to time yourself.  Running shorts and sweatshirt/pants for rainy or cold weather.  Warm hat and gloves also for the cold weather.  Spike shoes for races.

What are the letter requirements?

Athletes will receive points for achieving scoring places at meets.  Anyone scoring more than 20 points will letter.

Fourth year seniors will receive a letter.

The coaches reserve the right to award additional letters for any other outstanding contributions to the team.
